Do member get points again when they need to do a refund after points have been issued?

Usually refund of purchased item are case by case basis. Customers may exchange an item with the similar value or top-up additional for a higher value product. No refund of monetary amount for lower valued item.

Since points have been issued to members on earlier purchase, you may issue them with points on their additional top-up for a higher valued product.

 

Example 1:

Member A want to do an exchange on a $20 bag due to some misalignment sewing. She decide to get another design model which cost $30. 

  • Additional Top-up : $10
  • Points entitled : 10

*based on 1point=1dollar

 

Example 2:

Member A want to do an exchange on a $30 bag due to some misalignment sewing. She decide to get another design model which cost $29.

  • Monetary Refund : 0
  • Additional Top-up : $0
  • Points entitled : 0

*based on 1point=1dollar
